Our first Corgi pet was Whylie back in 1992. He made a great playmate for our older dog, Rasmus, a German Shepard, Akita mix. They were both fixed, so there was no rivalry, just good friends.

Freya was a "fluffy" Corgi who came along about seven years later. She hadn't been fixed and we were considering breeding her, but it was ill-advised because she was a "fluffy".

When Rasmus, Whylie, and Freya passed, we were without dogs for a few years in Hawai'i, until we adopted three breeding-stock Corgis from Washington, Little-bit, Pup, and Chaos. Two female, and one male. They had to stay in quarantine on Oahu, but we were ready for them when they came out, and they were ready to breed.

Little-bit had two litters previously, and had to skip a breeding session while in quarantine. Pup was a younger dog who had been through two heat cycles without breeding. They were ready and they both came into heat at the same time. Chaos was delighted, and quite viral. Little-bit had her usual six, all lived. Pup had nine, and the runt passed away.

Near a year later we sent Little-bit to retirement with one of her daughters, who would be fixed. We kept one of her daughters, Cinco, and found a good "stud" for her, Bart, back in the mainland.

Reba, a beautiful female of nice disposition came along from Royal Ridge Kennel, came around the same time as Bart, so we had a new bitch for Chaos.

These are currently our two main breeding couples. We are currently planning for breeding agreements on Kauai, and Oahu.
